The 7th arrondissement in Paris is well-known for several reasons; first and foremost, it’s where you’ll find the world-famous Eiffel Tower, along with Napoleon’s Tomb at Les Invalides.

However, there are some good options if you’re looking for budget hotels near the Eiffel Tower. They may not all be in the 7th arrondissement, but the neighboring districts are fine – and it’s really all about the distance from the famous tower, right?

The Hotel Eiffel Capitol is in the neighboring 15th arrondissement, three blocks from the banks of the Seine and roughly 1km from the Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. There are 42 rooms available in the Hotel, which feature satellite TVs and en-suite bathrooms. Although internet connections in the rooms are via dial-up, there’s WiFi available in the lobby.

Hôtel 7 Eiffel

The Hôtel 7 Eiffel is a property located in the 7th arrondissement, very close to the Champ de Mars. Timhotel Tour Eiffel

The Timhotel Tour Eiffel is part of the Timhotel chain (there are several in Paris and elsewhere) and is located in the 7th arrondissement, a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. Aloha Hostel

The Aloha Hostel, located in the 15th arrondissement, is the hostel that’s closest to the Eiffel Tower. Also, the hostel claims to even have beds with a view of the tower, but you’ll probably have to satisfy yourself with the proximity rather than the view. Perks include free breakfast and free WiFi in the lobby, but this hostel does have a curfew (2am) and a pretty long midday lockout period (11am-5pm).

Rooms at the Aloha Hostel come in either dorm-style or private doubles. Dorm beds range from €21-25, depending on the season, and doubles range from €24-28 (per person).
